Note: All IMVU accounts must be over 30 days minimum
To join Eagle Fleet, all prospective members must meet a small set of essential requirements to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging roleplay environment.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over and have both an active IMVU account with the IMVU Client downloaded, as well as an active Discord account for communication and coordination.
Members are expected to uphold the IDIC (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations) principle from Star Trek, meaning they must be non-discriminatory, open-minded, and fully accepting of all individuals, including LGBTQIA+ members.
Above all, recruits should bring a positive outlook toward Star Trek in its entirety, respecting all series, characters, and interpretations while contributing to a welcoming and collaborative community.
All new recruits are required to complete our official application via a Google Form as the first step in joining Eagle Fleet. Once submitted and reviewed, successful applicants will be enrolled into our structured Academy Programme, where they will begin their journey at the rank of Cadet. This introductory phase is designed to help new members learn the foundations of our roleplay, understand fleet protocols, and develop their character within the universe. During their time in the academy, cadets will receive guidance, take part in training scenarios, and gradually prepare to transition into active service within Eagle Fleet.
Upon joining Eagle Fleet, all new members will be supported by our Quartermaster, Admiral Selena Blonder, who will provide the basic essentials required to begin your journey in uniform. This ensures every recruit is properly equipped and visually aligned with fleet standards from the outset.
The issued items include:
Uniform Top
Uniform Pants/Skirt
Uniform Shoes
Commbadge
Rank Pips
Phaser
Tricorder
—everything needed to step into your role and fully immerse yourself in the Eagle Fleet experience.
All new players are required to complete a character biography template as part of their onboarding into Eagle Fleet. This biography helps establish your character’s background, personality, skills, and role within the fleet, ensuring consistency and depth in our shared storytelling. If you need any assistance while completing the template, support is readily available from the Academic Team, who are on hand to guide you through the process, offer feedback, and help you develop a well-rounded and engaging character.
Cadets progressing through the Academy will take part in structured lessons delivered by our experienced Skills Lecturers, designed to build both foundational knowledge and role-specific expertise. These sessions include core classes that introduce essential roleplay mechanics, fleet protocols, and in-universe knowledge, alongside specialised, career-focused training tailored to each cadet’s chosen pathway—such as operations, security, medical, or command. This balanced approach ensures that all cadets develop a strong understanding of Eagle Fleet as a whole while also gaining the skills and confidence needed to excel in their specific role.
Helm Officer – Pilots the starship, managing navigation, warp travel, and manoeuvring in space or atmosphere.
Operations Officer – Oversees ship systems, power distribution, and general functionality of onboard technology.

As members develop within their chosen career paths, opportunities for progression naturally open up, leading toward positions within Command and beyond. Through consistent participation, strong roleplay, and demonstrated understanding of fleet operations, individuals may advance into leadership roles where they help guide missions and support other players. From there, experienced members can progress even further to become Game-Masters, taking on the responsibility of creating and leading immersive storylines, managing events, and shaping the wider narrative of Eagle Fleet. This progression pathway rewards commitment and creativity, allowing members to grow from cadets into key contributors who help drive the entire roleplay experience forward.
